Find Z for the following proportion

This is the simplest proportion i have seen.
This is how we do it:
$\frac{z}{7}$ = $\frac{1}{7}$
The answer surprisingly is obvious, z = 1
But we can still do cross multiplication

7z = 7
Divide by 7 to isolate z

$\frac{7z}{7} = \frac{7}{7}$
7 and 7 cancels out
z = 1
