I'm an idiot. How do you know the difference between a quadratic and exponential equation just by looking at it without a graph?

(Please dummy it down for me because I have read the lesson 5 times and still don't understand it.)

Answer:

It's easy

Step-by-step explanation:

An exponential equation always has x as an exponent so just look for it

Ex:x+2=0(quadratic)                                                                                    Ex:2^x=0(exponential)

On the first day, Maria and Emily make flowers together for 1 hour and 25 minutes. In the time it takes Emily to make 2 paper fl
qwelly [4]
Okay, this is a proportion question. they make 45 flowers every 1 hour and 25 minutes, or 45/85(85 is equivalent to 1 hour and 25 minutes). and they made 100 flowers at the same rate as the first day. so you need to know how long it took them to make 100 flowers, if they make 45 every 85 minutes. so 45 (flowers) to 85 (minutes) = 100 (flowers) to x (minutes). or 45/85=100/x. so when you work that out, I came to 189 minutes, which is 3 hours and 9 minutes, so they stopped at 4:24. But you could round and get 4:25. Hope I didn't confuse you!
