Explanation:

Exercising is benfical in most of the cases, if yu exercise some days a week your cardiovascular health will definetly improve, but when you do the same routine day in and day out your body gets used to it and stops improving its condition, while with progression principle you get different difficult levels in different grades through the days and you continue to improve your cardiovascular fitness.
