The right answer is molasses.

Making rum from molasses, a syrup derived from sugarcane, was quite profitable. So, in 1733 the British government passes The Sugar and Molasses Act, a tax of six pence per gallon on molasses which was imported from the French West Indies or the Dutch West Indies. The main goal of this tax was to regulate trade and promote commerce with the British West Indies. Grenville recognized that the long-neglected molasses tax if enforced would devastate a major colonial industry. So he put through the American Revenue Act of 1764, commonly known as the Sugar Act, which cut the duty on molasses in half.

Why did the texans revolt against mexico?
neonofarm [45]

Explanation:

The Texans wanted to create a system of governance similar to what they left in the United States. This led to the push for Texans to gain their independence from Mexico. The Texans saw the Mexican government as just as aloof as the British government the colonists faced during the American Revolution.

Which of the following statements best describes the relationship between the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo space programs?
yKpoI14uk [10]

The correct answer is A. Each program was based on the knowledge of the previous ones.

The Mercury program was the first American manned space program developed between 1961 and 1963 in the framework of the space race with the Soviet Union.

Based on the knowledge provided by the Mercury program, in 1965 NASA launched the second American manned space program, Gemini, whose main goal was to develop the ability necessary for space encounter and coupling.

These abilities were fundamental for the third program, the Apollo missions, whose main objective was to put the first men on the moon, a goal that was accomplished in 1969.
