Answer:

domain is { x| x= -6, -1, 0, 3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Domain is the set of x values for which the function is defined

So for domain we take all the x values

We are given with the table

domain is only the x values

Range is the set of y values

for domain we take all the x values from the table

x values are -6, -1, 0 and 3

we write domain values in set notation

{x such that x= values of x }

So domain is { x| x= -6, -1, 0, 3}

Yuri [45]

Answer:

12 m²

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of the floor:

area = length * width

area = 4 m * 5 m

area = 20 m²

area of carpet = 60% of area of the floor

area of carpet = 0.6 * 20 m²

area of carpet = 12 m²

Solve the following:
A) 4x-1/2=x+7
B) 3x+2=2x+13/3
C) 2x-7/4=3+x/3
s2008m [1.1K]

Answer:

a. 2.5

b. 2.333

c. 2.85

Step-by-step explanation:

A) 1. subtract -x on both sides              2. to get 3x-1/2=7

3. Add 1/2 on both sides 4. to get 3x=7.5

5. divide 3 on both sides 6. To get... x=2.5

B)1. Same process.                               2. x+2=13/3

3. x=13/3-2                                         4. x= 2.33(repeating)

C) 1. same process.                           2. 2x-x/3=3+7/4

3. 2x-x/3=4.75                                  4. Isolate -x/3

5.-x/3=4.75-2x                                    6. multiply both sides by 3

7. -x=14.25-6x                                      8. 5x=14.25

9. x= 2.85

* remember to distribute the 3 to each variable.

PLEASE HELP AND I NEED STEP BY STEP EXPLNATION
natulia [17]
The answer would be 12 feet square.

That’s because taking out the square is taking out an area of 4 feet square. If you substitute the 4 feet square back in, that would fill in the empty spot marked with the 2 feet by 2 feet dimensions. Then, you could treat it like a rectangle of 4 by 3. If you multiply them you’ll get 12 feet square which is your answer. Hope this helps

Simplify: (−2)3 · (−2)4
A) (−2)12
B) (−2)7
C) 212
D) 27
Dahasolnce [82]
Since both sides have a -2 in then you can pull it out making the equation -2(3*4) which equals -2(12) so A is correct
