asambeis [7]3 years ago
4 0
Sin(a)=opposite/hypotenuse
        ∴hypotenuse=√20²+21²
                             =√400+441
                             =√841
                             =29
          ∴sin(a)=20/29
                     =0.6897

cos(a)=adjascent/hypotenuse
           =21/29
           =0.7241

WINSTONCH [101]

Answer:

The five tools used by Meteorologist are:

  1. Barometer- atmospheric pressure
  2. Sling Psychrometer- humidity and dew point
  3. Rain Gauge- amount of rain fall
  4. Wind vain- Wind direction
  5. Anemometer- measures wind speed.

Explanation:

Five types of measuring instruments used by Meteorologists:

  1. A barometer is an instrument used by the meteorologist to measure the atmospheric pressure. Since, atmospheric pressure changes with the altitude, barometer helps in measuring atmospheric pressure above and below sea level. There are two types of barometer- mercury and aneroid.
  2. Sling psychrometer is an instrument used to measure the humidity and dew point of an area. There are two types of thermometer in this wet-bulb and dry-bulb.
  3. Rain Gauge is an instrument used to collect the rainfall and measure the amount of it. It is done by collecting the precipitation of an area and then it is used to measure the rainfall.
  4. Wind vane is an instrument used to measure the direction of wind or from which direction the wind is coming. It is also known as weather vane.
  5. Anemometer is an instrument used to measure wind speed. It is used in weather stations.
