That would be 49 because AB is basically LM and AC is basically LN. Also 5 (AB) times 7 equals 35 (LM), which means 7 (AC) times 7 equals 49 (LN) which is LN. Hope I helped!!

makkiz [27]

Answer:

312π square inches

Step-by-step explanation:

The surface area of a cylinder is the area of both its bases and its lateral area added together.

The area of a circle is pi times the radius squared. The radius in this case would be 6, half of the 12 inch diameter. 6 squared is 36, making one base 36π inches squared. Multiply that by two to get the area of both bases; 73π inches squared.

The lateral area of a cylinder is the circumference of the base multiplied by the height of the cylinder. Circumference being pi times the diameter, it would be equal to 12π. Multiply that by the height to get 240π.

Then add the two values together to get 312π, the final answer.
