Gnom [1K]

The incorporation of a CD4+ Helper Epitope from Aquifex aeolicus enhances vaccine-induced humoral immunity by recognizing certain components of the immune system.

What are CD4+ Helper cells?

CD4+ Helper cells are CD4-positive cells of the immune system that trigger the body's responses to infections. These cells recognize epitopes (i.e., molecular domains) present in certain cells in order to trigger the humoral or cellular responses.

In conclusion, the incorporation of a CD4+ Helper Epitope from Aquifex aeolicus enhances vaccine-induced humoral immunity by recognizing certain components of the immune system.

I need help ASAP!!! ECOLOGY
inessss [21]

Based on value of change in shoot biomass, the study reveals that late plants benefited most from the introduction of soil invertebrates whole the early plants were worst affected.

What is ecology?

Ecology is the study of living organisms and their interactions with one another and their non-living environment.

From the observation of the study conducted:

 1. A negative value of change in shoot biomass indicates that growth of each plant was reduced as a result of either competition for space or food.
 2. The late plants were most positively affected as indicated by the highest positive value of change in shoot biomass whereas the early plants were most negatively affected as indicated by the lowest negative value of change in shoot biomass.

Therefore, it can be concluded from the study that late plants benefited most from the introduction of soil invertebrates whole the early plants were worst affected.

Why does osmosis differ from the diffusion of gases
mrs_skeptik [129]

This can be answered with the help of describing osmosis and diffusion in plants. The motion of molecules through the semi-permeable membrane is osmosis. In diffusion, motion of molecules is direct and does not need a semi-permeable membrane.

Explanation:

 • In plants, osmosis help plants to absorb water from soil. Diffusion is the process by which carbon dioxide diffuses to the leaves and then to the cells.
 • The genetic modifications in some of the plants can help in survive and adopt the osmosis in a very dry environment. They develop defense methods to handle the water loss. Some plants in a permanent dry environment like desert have special structures like reduced leaves, sunken stomata, and so on to conserve water.
 • Osmosis happens only in liquid medium. Diffusion happens in any medium - solid, liquid, and gases.
