There are a lot of diseases that can be transmitted when digesting contaminated food.

Here are a few:
Salmonella (raw meat or eggs)
Shigella (dirty hands after the bathroom)
Vibrio (bacteria that contaminates fish)
Campylobacter jejuni (raw chicken and unpasteurised milk)
