I have another question for u guys could u plz help me out? so here it is? Anthony threw a ball from the top of a 10-story build

ing that was 165 feet tall. The equation g(165-h)=1/2v^2 can be used to find the maximum height the ball can attain after being thrown from the top of the building. In this equation g represents the acceleration due to gravity (32 feet per second squared), h is the maximum height attained by the ball, and v is the speed of the ball.
rewrite the equation to highlight the maximum height attained by the ball, h.

For this case we have the following equation:
 g (165-h) = 1 / 2v ^ 2
 We must clear the value of h.
 Step 1:
 Pass g to divide:
 (165-h) = (1/2) ((v ^ 2) / g)
 Step 2:
 Pass 165 subtracting:
 -h = (1/2) ((v ^ 2) / g) -165
 Step 3:
 Multiply both sides of the equation by -1:
 h = - (1/2) ((v ^ 2) / g) +165
 Answer:
 The equation to highlight the maximum height attained by the ball, h is:
 h = - (1/2) ((v ^ 2) / g) +165

Which expression is equivalent to sqrt 8/x^6. assume x > 0
Naddik [55]
We have the following expression:
 sqrt 8 / x ^ 6
 Rewriting we have:
 sqrt (8 / x ^ 6)
 sqrt (2 * 4 / ((x ^ 2) * (x ^ 2) * (x ^ 2)))
 (2 / (x * x * x)) sqrt (2)
 (2 / x ^ 3) * sqrt (2)
 Answer:

An equivalent expression is given by:

(2 / x ^ 3) * sqrt (2)

600 units of electricity and 100 units of gas were used for a total cost of $388. Next month, 400 units of electricity and 150 u
lana66690 [7]

Answer:

Cost per Electricity Unit= $0.61

Cost per Gas Unit= $0.22

Step-by-step explanation:

Suppose,

Cost per Electricity Unit: e

Cost per Gas Unit: g

for the first month condition, equation would be

600*e+100*g=388...........................................(i)

and for the next month condition, equation would be like

400*e+150*g=277...........................................(ii)

By solving both linear equations simultaneously, we get

e=0.61    and     g=0.22
