The answer is 30 ft²

The surface area (SA) of a pyramid is the sum of lateral area (LA) of the pyramid and the area of its base (BA):
SA = LA + BA

The area of the pyramid base (which is a square) with base edge a is:
BA = a²

We have:
SA = 55 ft²
LA = ?
a = 5 ft

LA = SA - BA = SA - a²
LA = 55 - 5²
LA = 55 - 25
LA = 30 ft²

HOPE THIS HELPS;)

Lateral Area = Surface Area - Area of Base.
that'll be 55ft^2 - 25ft^2 = 30ft^2.

A person walks 8blocks east, then 4 blocks north, 12 blocks west and 4 blocks south, at this point how many blocks from her star
Setler79 [48]

Answer:

4 Blocks.

Step-by-step explanation:

You start out going 8 east so that's 4.

Then you got 4 north as well so that's 12 because 8 + 4 = 12

then they walk 12 blocks west. Now they are in the position of 4 North and 4 West.

Next they go 4 blocks south. Since they went for blocks North first and now they go 4 blocks south and they are already on the fourth block to the west.

When they are at 4 North and 4 South the just travel to the original position but 4 blocks to the west.

Sorry if you don't understand the explanation. It's kinda difficult to explain.

How many degrees is angle x
agasfer [191]

Answer:

The degrees of angle x is 180 degrees.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the value of all angles within a triangle must equal 180 degrees, if you know at least two angles, you can subtract them from 180 to find the missing third angle. If you are working with equilateral triangles, divide 180 by three to find the value of x.
