The area of the triangle on the right side is
Area = base*height/2
Area = 12*5/2
Area = 60/2
Area = 30 square inches

Multiply the area of the triangular base by the depth or height of the prism 15
Volume = (area of base)*(depth)
Volume = 30*15
Volume = 450 cubic inches

Answer: Choice D

Hello!

Two of these figures could create a rectangular prism when combined. Therefore, we can multiply the base by the height and divide it by two.

15(12)=180 (Base
180(5)=900

Now we divide by 2.

900/2=450

Therefore, our answer is D) 450 in³

I hope this helps!

5x−4 = 3x +8
i need the steps on how to find x
plz, i got a 0 the first time i did it
svetoff [14.1K]

Answer:

5x − 4 = 3x + 8

5x - 4 + 4 = 3x + 8 + 4

5x = 3x + 12

5x - 3x = 3x + 12 - 3x

2x = 12

2x / 2 = 12 / 2

x = 6

Change the fraction 3/4 to a percent.
Levart [38]
There is 100% in 1 since this is three parts of 1 we will have to divide 100 by 4 then multiply it by 3.
After you do all the math you will get 0.75.
You can convert this to a percent by just removing the point and the zero and adding a percent at the end.
The answer is going to be 75%

Determine how long it will take an object to rotate through 6.9 revolutions at an angular velocity of 3.1 radians per second. Us
gregori [183]

Answer: 13 . 99 seconds

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula to find how long it will take an object to rotate through 6.9 revolutions at an angular velocity is given as :

t = 2π x number of revolutions / angular velocity

Therefore :

t = 2π x 6.9 / 3.1

t = 2 x 3.142 x 6.9 / 3.1

t = 43.3596/3.1

t = 13. 98696774194

to the nearest tenth

t = 13. 99s
