Part C
IrinaVladis [17]

Answer:

                     (i) 1 moles of C

                     (ii) 4.5 moles of C

Explanation:

                   The Chemical equation is as follow,

                                             A + 2 B  →  C

This chemical equation can be translated as;

(i) 1 mole of A reacts with 2 moles of B

(ii) 1 mole of A produces 1 mole of C

(iii) 2 moles of B reacts with 1 mole of A

(iv) 2 moles of B produces 1 mole of C

(v) 1 mole of C is produced by 1 mole of A and 2 moles of B

Therefore to find the number of moles of C produced by 2 mole of B we will do following proportional method.

As,

                        2 moles of B produced  =  1 mole of C

So,

                    2 moles of B will produce  =  X moles of C

Solving for X,

                      X =  2 moles × 1 mole / 2 moles

                      X =  1 moles of C

Note:

         In above problem the given moles were the same as that present in balance equation so incase if the moles are different from that of the equation then the method shown above can be used to solve it.

Lets try it for 9 moles of B:

As,

                        2 moles of B produced  =  1 mole of C

So,

                    9 moles of B will produce  =  X moles of C

Solving for X,

                      X =  9 moles × 1 mole / 2 moles

                      X =  4.5 moles of C

Organisms in this domain can be unicellular or multicellular. Organisms in this domain are unicellular and are often found in ex
Vika [28.1K]

Answer: Organism in this domain can be defined as living things that has an organized structure, and responds to stimuli, and has ability to reproduce, grow, and maintain a state of equilibrium. Organisms are of two types which are unicellular and multi cellular organisms.

Explanation: unicellular organisms are organisms that are made up of only one cell which carries out all the functions needed by the oragnism. Multicellular organisms are organisms that are made up of more than one cell. These organisms uses many different cells to function.

Unicellular organisms are often found in extreme environments such as hot springs, polar ice and frozen tundra.

Unicellular organisms have cell that contain a nucleus.

How can we predict which elements are reactive under normal conditions and which are unreactive?
mr_godi [17]

Answer:

We can predict or comment about reactivity of elements by taking into consideration their electronic configuration that imparts stability or un-stability to an atom.

Explanation:

Reactivity : It refers to the affinity of a substance to combine with other substance .

Elements are mainly of two types :

  • Metals and Non metals

In terms of metals or non metals it can be defined as tendency to loose or gain electrons .

  • On the basis of it ,we can easily make out or comment about the reactivity of element (metal or non metal ) .Like ,if an element has completely filled outermost shell or we can say have stable electronic configuration then it is already stable .Therefore , it won't react with any other element .
  • But, if its outer shell isn't complete then in order to attain stability it will combine or react with other .Hence , we can say it will be quite reactive .
