d² = (x₂ - x₁)² + (y₂ - y₁)²
d² = (7 - (-2))² + (9 - 3)²
d² = (7 + 2)² + 6²
d² = 9² + 6²
d² = 81 + 36
d² = 117
d = √117
d = 10.81665..
to the nearest tenth
d = 10.8 units
The length of the segments is 10.8 units

d² = (7 - (-2))² + (9 - 3)²
d² = (7 + 2)² + 6²
