Calib received $50 for his birthday and put it in his piggy bank. Each week, he puts 2 more dollars in his bank. The amount of m

oney in dollars D in his bank is given by D = 2w + 50, where w is the number of weeks he has saved 2 dollars. His sister Lara makes a table of reasonable values for w. Lara selects 14 as a value for w.

D = 2w + 50

Plug in 14 for w.

D = 2(14) + 50

D = 28 + 50

D = 78

Therefore the corresponding table entry for D would be B. 78

14 times 2 equals 28 and 50+28 equals 78

N=3, zeros 4 and 2i, f(2)=-48 find nth degree polinomonal function
enot [183]
The degree is 3, the zeros are; 4, 2i, -2i and a point is (-48, 2)

For zeros; 2i, -2i <-- complex conjugates, always in pairs

\frac{c}{a}=(2i)(-2i)

= -4(i²=-1)
=5

\frac{b}{a}=-(2i+(-2i))
=0

Therefore the equation is; a(x^{2}+5) <-- b value is zero

Rewrite the equation with all zeros;

a(x-4)(x²+5)=f(x) <-- put in coordinates of the points to find the value of x
a(2-4)(2²+5)=-48
a(2)(9)=-48
a=-48/18
a=-8/3

The final polynomial function is; (-8/3)(x-4)(x²+5)=f(x)

Hope I helped :)

Jessica is selling books during the summer to earn money for college. She earns a commission on each sale but has to pay her own
Nina [5.8K]
I believe it is B, as C and D both are based on the number of books sold while the only variable to determine the amount of money she earns are the additional doors she knocks on.

Using Cramer's Rule, what are the values of x and y in the solutio
olya-2409 [2.1K]

Answer:

x = -3, y = 1

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the value of x and y, find the determinant of original matrix, which would be 21.

Then, substitute the value of x with the solutions to the equations and find the determinant of that matrix, which is -63.

Cramer's rule says that Dx ÷ D is the value of x. So, -63 ÷ 21 = -3.

So, the x-value is -3.

You can find the determinant of the y-value in the same way, and you'll find out that y = 1.

Hope this helped! :)
