In both te Arab and France, commoners did not believe that they could live a better life and it took them years to realize this fact. In both the revolutions, common people got to know about the lifestyle of other people. The youth of both revolutions disagreed with their lifestyle and therefore, revolted. In both cases, there was high inflation and unemployment. Public speakings, pamphlets, magazines, newspapers were sources of information, in both the cases. The social, economic and political reasons were thus similar.

What best describes the purpose of electoral college
rosijanka [135]
Hello!

The electoral college consists of 538 electors who are distributed throughout the states. The amount of electors that an American state has depends on the state's population. A larger population has more electors to represent the state, whereas a state with a smaller population has less electors.

In the past, many people were fairly politically uninformed. Due to this, the electoral college was established to represent the general public, and the electors were required to make the most beneficial presidential decision for their state.
The electoral college continues to represent the American public in presidential elections today. The electors often vote based on their state's citizens' presidential preference. However, sometimes the electors strongly believe in a different candidate and cast their votes towards him/her.
The official purpose of the electoral college is to represent their state in presidential elections, which determines the President of the United States and the Vice President.

I hope this helps answer your question!

How did the islamic empire impact the areas it ruled?
MrMuchimi
It had a major impact on these areas. It enforced islamic law, but also allowed people of other religions to live in their areas for a certain tax which they had to pay to live undisturbed. They also had their own representatives. There was however an influence of islamic culture on the different nations found under their empire.
