G a key part to designing digital logic is manipulating binary numbers. you might have learned number representation while worki

ng on your dac since the dac used a binary representation of a number to generate an analog voltage that represented the number.
a.express the decimal digit "6", "129" and "600" in binary. how many binary bits are needed? how many decimal bits are needed? (6)
b.if you wish to add two 2-bit binary numbers together, construct a truth table to describe the correct outputs of the simple adder. first, express the logic equation in terms of inputs a = (a1a0), b = (b1b0), and output s = (s2s1s0). second, complete a truth table. (21)

2^0=1_{10}=1_2
2^1=2_{10}=10_2
2^2=4_{10}=100_2
\vdots

The pattern above tells you that the nth power of 2 requires n+1 binary digits. So

4=2^2
6=4+2\implies6_{10}=110_2

128=2^7
129=128+1\implies129_{10}=10000001_2

512=2^9
600=512+64+16+8\implies600_{10}=1001011000_2

Meanwhile, you clearly need 1, 3, 3 decimal digits (respectively) to represent the numbers in base 10.

when sunayana purcased a video-game she paid Rs 162.50 as VAT at the rate of 13%. find its cost without levying VAT. Rs 1250 is
horsena [70]

Answer: 1250

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the cost before vat

13/100x = 162.50

x = 162.50 x 100/13

x = 162.50 / 2.13

x = 1250

Daniel is creating a rectangular garden in his back yard. The length of the garden is 14 feet. The perimeter of the garden must
kondaur [170]

Answer:

15 ≤ w ≤ 19

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that :

Length of garden = 14 feets

Perimeter must be atleast 58 but no more than 66

The range of value for the width ;

Perimeter = 2 length + 2 width

Perimeter = 2(14) + 2w

If perimeter = 58

58 = 28 + 2w

58 - 28 = 2w

30 /2 = w

w = 15

If perimeter = 66

66 = 28 + 2w

66 - 28 = 2w

38 = 2w

w = 38 / 2

w = 19

Range of the width should be atleast 15 and not more Than 19

Hence,

15 ≤ w ≤ 19

Which of the following is true concerning the expression 5x + 7 + 2x? Please circle the correct answer.
jasenka [17]
Its C because both 5x and 2x have the same x at the end and their both considered like terms. so the answer would be C and if it was to be solved 5x+2x= 7x and 7+7x would be the final answer. since the 7 with no x has no x, it wouldnt have to be solved or simplified
