Territorial losses were the worst punishment faced by Germany in the Treaty of Versailles.’
otez555 [7]

Answer:

I absolutely agree with that statment of territorial losses being the worst punishment faced by Germans in Treaty of Versailles.

Explanation:

Territorial loss is a system where a country is stripped off its rightful lands and areas due to fallout with other countries after a war. After the end of world War 1, Germany lost the war. And, also, they lost most of their territory due to the Treaty they signed with other countries.

The Treaty was to curtail their power and influence in Europe. Despite the treaty being too harsh, what pained the Germans most was the territorial loss to some Allied powers such as Belgium, Cezchslovakia, Poland, East Pressua and renouncement of control of colonies under their care. It is sighted by researchers, that, the territorial loss is part of the reason why German went to war during world War 2.

DerKrebs [107]

The answer is B MacArthur wanted to become more aggressive and invade China. After China intervened in the Korean war when it was close to being finished MacArthur wanted to punish China by bombing and invasion to beat China in a war. Trumans policy was to just hold onto Korea and not engage Cina on land. At the time the US was worried about an invasion of Europe by the USSR and felt a war with China in asia was the wrong war at the wrong time.

In what ways did Caesar act like a king?
kondor19780726 [428]

Answer:

Julius Caesar began to reshape the Roman Republic by beginning to give himself authority over certain aspects other officials would get. For example, Caesar gained control of the consul (which were supposed to be two that held the "most" authority), the praetor (which were the replacements of the consuls), and other positions slowly without outright saying he was overruling their authority. He frequently ignored the suggestions of the Senate when it came to war and other affairs, and he basically did as much as he could to gain absolute power without everyone suspecting so. He even declared a civil war against Rome because his enemy, General Pompey, was rivalling his power. I hope this helps, Julius Caesar is a very interesting character!
