503/2=251.5
31/2=15.5
251.5-15.5=HARMONY
251.5+15.5=MAGLEV
HARMONY=236
MAGLEV=267

According to info given, the two added up should equal 503 and the maglev is faster than the harmony by 31, so subtracting 236 from 267 should equal 31

267-236=31
267+236=503

The other person posted an incorrect answer as the sum is not 503 in his.

5h+4+52+64=180 what does that equal to
Softa [21]

Answer:

x=12

Step-by-step explanation:

5x+4+64+52=180

We move all terms to the left:

5x+4+64+52-(180)=0

We add all the numbers together, and all the variables

5x-60=0

We move all terms containing x to the left, all other terms to the right

5x=60

x=60/5

x=12

Answer:

6.7

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, we can apply cosine law, c^2=a^2+b^2-2abcos\theta

We the plug in values: (CB)^2+6^2+5^2-2*6*5*cos74

and solve that CB is around 6.7

Coefficient of b in expansion of (3+b)^4
Margarita [4]
Are you sure you want ONLY the coefficient of b?  If you expand this, you will have b in 3 of 4 terms.

According to Pascal's Triangle, the coefficients of (a+b)^4 are as follows:

                             1
                        1    2    1
                   1      3    3     1
              1       4     6     4     1

So (a+b)^4 would be 1a^4 + 4a^3b + 6a^2b^2 + 4ab^3 + b^4

Here, you want (3 + b)^4.  Here's what that looks like:

3^4 + 4[3^3*b] + 6[3^2*b^2] + 4[3*b^3] + 1[b^4]

Which coeff did you want?
