Based on the career you want and degree, does it matter what courses you take in order to achieve that career? I hope this makes

sense, someone please answer this for me, I just want to know.

Well,yeah i guess it does matter.
because those course you take will develop your skills and abilities and knowledge.So for example :- if you want to do a science related degree,so your course should also be of science.so that you get better understanding and help while doing your degree.

It all depends on what career you are looking, if it is specific (medicine for example) the course choice is important but for something such as journalism there are many different acceptable degree choices (e.g English and Creative Writing, journalism studies, English with media, etc.)
