Answer: Based on what I learnt in biology I believe the correct answer is brain plasticity.

Explanation:

What is brain plasticity?

Brain plasticity refers to the ability of our brain to adjust to the changes brought to us by change in situations that we experience in life.

Jerry was previously exposed to an environment that one may refer to as inappropriate for raising a child , where his mom probably brought drugs to sell in their house and also might have done her work whilst Jeremy was there.

This might have affected his ability to cope with his school work because this probably affected him mentally.

When the situation change and now he was experiencing a different environment where there is love and comfort , his brain adjusted to this positive change which yielded positive results in his school work.

Vladimir [108]
Dr Murdoch is demonstrating the scientific attitude of humility.
Historians of science support the idea that scientific attitude consists of three main components: humility, curiosity and scepticism. Curiosity refers to the intense need and passion to test and question in order to understand or find a solution. Skepticism refers to the attitude of doubting everything in a sensible way. Finally, humility is the attitude of believing that facts and truth matter more than your own opinion.
This attitude helps modern scientists to test and evaluate each other's scientific conclusions.

Do you think that the New Imperialism of the late 19th and early 20th centuries was inevitable? Why or why not?
Pavel [41]

It was. The countries that were under new imperialist rule were countries that wanted to gain independence from their former colonizers. Those who helped them like the US or Britain exploited the situation by helping the countries and later placing the people that suited them as rulers of those countries.
