The correct answer is letter A. Valjean did not pay the Bishop for his overnight stay because the Church does not charge money for taking care of people. It was what the Bishop intended to do, to be good for others and be an example of a good minister of the Church.

ENGLISH HELP PLEASEEE
lawyer [7]

Answer:

1. D || 2. A

Explanation:

My answers may not be correct, due to the fact I did not read the story.

1. I'm guessing the answer is 'D'. In the bible most stories are 'short stories' and have a moral, like a lesson. Reading this it sounds like the same, in the story 'The Boy Who Cried Wolf'. It showed the life of a character and a moral. Which explains why you should not be like him. In my opinion, 'D' sounds like the correct answer.

2. I believe the correct answer is A! I read the other answers and none of them sounded close to right, assuming A is the correct answer. The first question helps provide more reason as to why this could be the correct answer.
