The parking lots perimeter is 102 yards because 378/9 is 42 and 42x2 is 84 added to 9 doubled (18) is 102 yards

Here you know the are of the square yard which is 378 and you also know the wide(9) but you DONT know the length.
here how you find the lenght

378 = 9x
x = 378/9
x=42

since now we know the lenght

we can find the <span>perimeter of the employee parking lot

A square has four sides right?

so to find the perimeter you just add up the four sides

9+9+42+42 =102

Hope this helped.

A cheetah run 70 miles per hour what is the speed for feet per hour
pochemuha

Answer:

The correct answer to this question is that the cheetah can run 369,000 feet per hour. We can work this out in the following way:

One mile equals 1760 yards

In feet that is 3 x 1760 or 5,280

So Feet per hour will be 5280 x 70 or

369,600 feet per hour.

Find the half range Fourier sine series of the function
worty [1.4K]
The full range is -\pi (length 2L=2\pi), so the half range is L=\pi. The half range sine series would then be given by

f(x)=\displaystyle\sum_{n\ge1}b_n\sin\dfrac{n\pi x}L=\sum_{n\ge1}b_n\sin nx

where

b_n=\displaystyle\frac2L\int_0^Lf(x)\sin\dfrac{n\pi x}L\,\mathrm dx=\frac2\pi\int_0^\pi(\pi-x)\sin nx\,\mathrm dx

Essentially, this is the same as finding the Fourier series for the function

\begin{cases}g(x)=\begin{cases}\pi-x&\text{for }0

Integrating by parts yields

b_n=\dfrac2\pi\left(\dfrac\pi n-\dfrac{\sin n\pi}{n^2}\right)=\dfrac2n

So the half range sine series for this function is simply

f(x)=\displaystyle\sum_{n\ge1}\frac{2\sin nx}n

If f(x) = 5-2x^3 and f^-1 denotes the inverse function of f, then f^-1(x)= ?
-BARSIC- [3]
f(x)=5-2x^3\\&#10;y=5-2x^3\\&#10;2x^3=-y+5\\&#10;x^3=-\dfrac{y-5}{2}\\&#10;x=\sqrt[3]{-\dfrac{y-5}{2}}=-\sqrt[3]{\dfrac{y-5}{2}}\\&#10;f^{-1}(x)=-\sqrt[3]{\dfrac{x-5}{2}}
