19/1634
Answer = 86
To get this, simply align the paper by putting 19 on the outside of the division box and 1,634 on the inside of the division box, then, decipher whether 19 can go into 16 (It cannot), so, you would have to divide 19 into the number 163. After doing this, put the sum of 19 divided by 163 on top of the division box and divide 40 into 19. After adding the sum on top the the division box to sum of 40 divided by 19, you should get your final answer, which is of course, 86.

Also, you can simply look up a tutorial on Google or YouTube!

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

We have to divide 1634 by 19

we will first consider the first digit which is 1 but it is less than 19 we have to consider the digit which is greater than or equal to 19.

Now, we will consider 16 which is again less than 19

So, we will proceed to 163 which is greater than 19 hence, when divided by 19 we get quotient 8 and remainder 11

Then in next step we will take the remaining digit with remainder we will get 114 which is again greater than 19 which when divided by 19 we get quotient 6 and remainder 0

Hence, the digit 1634 is exactly divisible by 19 gives the quotient 86 and remainder 0.

Hello I need help on this math question
Zigmanuir [339]

Answer:

50.24\ cm ^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's start by finding the radius of this circle.

D=2r\\8=2r\\\text{Divide both sides by 2}\\r=4

Note that in the equation:

A=\pi r^2

"A" stands for area and "r" stands for radius.

Now, let's substitute the given values into the equation.

A=\pi r^2\\A=3.14*(4)^2\\A=3.14*16\\A=50.24\ cm^2

scoundrel [369]

Answer:

So the height is 12

Step-by-step explanation:

Let W be the width

Let W- 4 be the height

W2 +(W-4)2 = 400

So: W2 -4W-192 =0

One uses the quadratic solution:

W = (4 + (16 + 4*192).5)/2 = 16
