Plastic because I believe it can actually make more things than paper can make

Paper. Paper is bio degradable, when it gets wet it will sink into the ground, while plastic will take years to break down. Paper is harmless in environments like the the ocean unlike plastic which can kill animals. It can be wrapped around their throughts, big solid pieces could choke them or hurt them if swallowed too. Someone might argue that plastic has more uses, that’s true... however that doesn’t make it better for our environment. Therefore paper is better for the environment. And you should always pick up any plastic you outside!!!

The pedigree shows the inheritance of an autosomal recessive disorder. What is the genotype of Steve and Sonya's son?
FromTheMoon [43]

Answer:

The answer is pp

Explanation:

Steve and Sonya's son genotype is pp. Because an inheritance of autosomal recessive disorder  is with recessive allele responsible for the exceptional phenotype. In this case, Steve and Sonya are both heterozygotes, Pp, which means they both have a p allele  because each one gave the boy a p, contributing to affect his son. And since we are talking about inheritance of an autosomal disorder, we know that the parents phenotypic proportions are the same.

The government of a flood prone region wants to implement some measure to reduce risk of floods. Which method is likely to reduc
Sonja [21]

Answer:

The correct answer is "preservation of wetlands".

Explanation:

Wetland are areas of lands that are saturated with water, usually comprised by marshes or swamps. Preservation of wetlands help to reduce the risk of floods because wetlands temporarily store and slow the release of stormwater. It has been reported that areas where wetland have been lost, the chances of flood increases by as much as 80 percent. The government of a flood-prone region would likely reduce the risk of floods by preserving its wetlands.

I think it resembles the nervous system because like the nucleus, the brain controls body functions while the nucleus controls the cell’s functions.
