You can set up a simple algebraic equivalent to find a number equivalent to 200 after being multiplied by 3 and added 11 to.

3x+11=200
3x=189
x=63

Well let's work backwards to find out! Okay so subtract 11 from 200 (because you added 11) then you got 189 know and then you would divide the number by 3 (because you tripled it) so 189÷3=63 so let's try it with 63.

63 tripped is 189, 11 added to 189 is 200

So know know that it works we know it's our answer. 63

3(d-8) - 5 = 9(d+2) + 1
attashe74 [19]

Answer:

d = - 8

Step-by-step explanation:

3(d-8) - 5 = 9(d+2) + 1

3d-24 - 5 = 9d+18 + 1

3d - 29 = 9d + 19

9d - 3d = -29 - 19

6d = - 48

6d / 6 = -48/6

d = -8

Q1: Explain how to convert a fraction into a decimal.
Elan Coil [88]

Find a number you can multiply by the bottom of the fraction to make it 10, or 100, or 1000, or any 1 followed by 0s.

Multiply both top and bottom by that number.

Then write down just the top number, putting the decimal point in the correct spot (one space from the right hand side for every zero in the bottom number)
