The main type of figurative language used in "Summer Storm" is that of the simile. The poet uses a simile in the third stanza to describe the storm.

Gioia writes, The rain was "like a waterfall" and "cool and silent as the stars." The poet then compares the brief and powerful nature of the storm to his time with this woman.

ArbitrLikvidat [17]

Answer:

A or C sound the best.

Explanation:

A sounds good because "Main Street is always busy because of all the stores there" is a strong claim, since you'll have a lot of reasons as to why they're busy. you can also maybe try to add a few solutions as to how to solve this problem, where you can input D.

C also sounds good because"Main Street is the busiest street in the city". well, why is it busy?

hope i helped! tell me if you get it right :)
