for politics, military, or economy as much as they cared for religion.
They were a polytheistic nation, meaning that they believed in many gods
to help them with their everyday life. So, everything they created
artistically had something to do with religion, because it was such an

The first British colonists in Carolina introduced African slavery into the colony in 1670, the year the colony was founded, and Charleston ultimately became the busiest slave port in North America. So that all labor was being done easier and the wealthy would be able to sell their slaves in order to establish royalty and have more money.
