Well i can at least help with some of it. During that period of time the church also controlled the science community. they believed that everything revolved around the earth (pre-sientific), so when Galileo and Plotemy made different theory from the church (that everything revolved around the sun) the church tried to silence them (enlightenment Ideas). in time it was accepted that the sun was the center of the universe (new beliefs). Sorry I cant help with the other two.

Predict: Do you think another nuclear bomb will be dropped some day? Explain why you believe this way?
MariettaO [177]

I do believe that another nuclear bomb will be dropped some day, but not in the way that you think. While this question may have had you think of countries attacking each other, it is actually something different. You see, countries test nuclear weapons a decent amount, and a large amount during the Cold War era. So, technically, countries have dropped nuclear bombs after Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but not in acts of aggression.

If I couldn't use that as an example, I still do believe that some day in the future, there will be another nuclear attack on a country. I do not know when it will happen, nor do I want it to happen (I don't think anyone would want that), but we have come close to nuclear war before. Humans are human, and mistakes can happen, let me tell you a story.

During the Cuban Missile Crisis in the 1960s, the U.S. and the Soviet Union came within a hair of nuclear war. During this time of crisis, U.S. and Soviet nuclear submarines patrolled the oceans, and during this conflict, one Soviet submarine prepared to fire a nuclear missile. According to Soviet military policy, three officers manning a sub must approve a strike before it can commence. Two officers in the sub approved a strike on the U.S. during the crisis, as they believed war had already begun (it was hard to communicate in subs during this time), but one officer denied the other two. Vasili Arkhipov, regarded as "The Man Who Saved the World" was the only thing preventing mass nuclear conflict. Had Arkhipov approved the strike, we wouldn't be around today.

These human errors that people make convince me that it is extremely probable that another could occur, and this could lead to another nuclear conflict.

The factors that account for Germany’s early success in the war.
Burka [1]

Answer:

So Hitler's Germany was VERY successful in its conquests before and early in  WWll for this one reason: no one stopped him. Hitler was elected the supreme chancellor of Germany because he promised his people to get them out of the depression that was facing Germany since WWl. In the Treaty of Versailles, which was the end of WWl, it stated that Germany had to pay all of the reparations of the war because they "started it". Obviously Germany could not pay for all of this and they went into a deep depression. Hitler comes along promising to make Germany great again and is re-elected. Okay, enough back story. Now that Hitler is elected he believes that he is the leader of  a Third Reich that will last 1,000 years. With this new idea he also believes that Germans need more space to spread out if they are going to the dominating force in Europe. So, Hitler's army starts walking into surrounding countries and saying that they are his now...and no one stops him. Allied countries even appease Hitler by signing the Munich Pact which said he could have the Czechoslovakian Sudetenland if he promised not to invade the rest of Czechoslovakia. He later went back on his promise and captured the rest of Czechoslovakia which enraged France and England, but the last straw before war was declared was when Hitler decided to invade Poland on September 1, 1939.
