Article V (5) is the part of the Constitution in which explains how to amend the Constitution. The article states "The Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution, or, on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress; provided that no amendment which may be made prior to the year one thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any manner affect the first and fourth clauses in the ninth section of the first article; and that no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate."

Which action occurs in a presidential government but not in parliamentary
government
MakcuM [25]

Both presidentialism and parliamentarism are unequivocally democratic, but each of these regimes leads to different political consequences.

The great difference is that in parliamentarism the executive branch is composed of a president or a monarch, head of state, with limited powers, and a government appointed by Parliament, which at any time can censor. In presidentialism, however, the head of state and government coincide in the same person, are not subject to parliamentary censure and the Legislative Branch is limited to the area of law making.

Therefore, in presidentialism, voters elect the head of government (who in turn is head of state); instead, in parliamentarism, the head of government is appointed by the head of state, who is voted by the people.

Which question best addresses the issue of risk with a new job?
raketka [301]
The correct answer should be B. Is there a chance this job might not work out?

This is a risk related question because it is a part of risk assessment. When asking such questions, you usually analyze the possible situation and the outcome in order to prevent bad things from happening. People ask this question when they decide on whether the business endeavor is a risk that they're willing to take or not. The other questions are important as well but are not as much related to risk assessment.

In general, how did life for rural americans differ from lifes or urban americans\
Alekssandra [29.7K]
Rural Americans were much more self-sufficient than Urban Americans. They had farms or often went hunting or similar things and didn't rely that much on money and getting manufactured goods or store-bought food. Urban Americans however had other opportunities such as higher chance of chasing their careers or educating themselves or participating in daily life and political events and similar things.
