Answer:

The Navajo tribe

Explanation:

The Navajo made geometric-patterned carpets, ceramics and pottery with sand paintings that were suposed to cure diseases, bring fertility, and ensure good hunting. The pigments were dust from different rocks and minerals, coal and wheat pollen.

The Navajos were the only ceramic manufacturers that uses pine resin in their finishes, giving the finished piece a reddish or dark brown hue and bright luster similar to mahogany.

More than in any other tradition of manufacturing Native American pottery, the Indian tribe of Navajo is known for horsehair pottery, which was taken from the town of Acoma. By placing individual strands of horsehair, both of the mane and of the tail of the same, on the pieces of red-hot ceramic, the artists create dark veins that can serve as a unique decoration or as a basis for another engraved or painted design. A similar process uses pens.
