Democracy was important and still is important, of course. Despite how gullible humans tend to be, our brains are wired to be free independent. Liberty in a society has worked in making better laws and economy ever since it was first tested. That, and democracy is just the most logical decision, and the most humane.

Democracy is very important to us. If we didn't haven't freedom we wouldn't be able to express ourselves. Every single day you wake up and choose what to do, where, or eat could be controlled by other people (if tyranny or monarchy). If you think about it, our lives would be so different without those who have came before us and saw another way. Democracy is always going to be a system that helps people make choices and gain freedoms that may be denied somewhere else. All in all, democracy is an important part of the past, present, and hopefully the future.

Have a great day!

In the early part of WW2 why did the us only allow a certain amount of immigrants to enter the US
hoa [83]

Answer:

Before World War II and the Holocaust, American law made very little distinction between refugees forced to flee their countries due to persecution, and immigrants seeking a better life. After the war, the United States and the international community used a series of directives, organizations, and laws to help displaced European refugees, including Holocaust survivors, immigrate to new countries. Although refugees gained legal status under postwar international law, the scope of these laws were narrow and limited at first, before expanding to their current form.
