Answer: The plant biotechnology can be defined as a field that helps in agriculture. The plants and crops are modified in such a way that the crops produced are of great importance.

Explanation:

The example is genetically modified plants. The genes of the plants is modified in such a way the products produced are disease resistant, drought resistant and have high nutritive value.

These crops are not naturally present in the environment it is produced by the  genetic manipulation which is the work of plant biotechnology.
