Anyone know how to do this find the slope? Will give brainliest.
Molodets [167]
Explanation: In my notes you’ll see the formula for how to find slope under “Formulas”.

How to use this formula: In the first graph you have points (2,3) and (6,8)
So y2 would be 8, and y1 would be 3.
x2 would be 6, and x1 would be 2.

1. Sub points into formula
2. subtract y2 by y1
3. Subtract x2 by x1
4. Divide top by bottom

And you’ve got your slope! (Rise/run)

If you need further clarification, feel free to ask me in the comments. Hope this helps :)

In a particular game, a spinnerwith four equally-sized sectors labeled 1, 3, 4, and 6 is spun twice. One turn is considered 2 sp
galina1969 [7]

Each spin consists in a choice of a number among 1, 3, 4 and 6. This means that there are two odd numbers and two even numbers.

You get an even number if you sum two numbers with the same parity, you get an odd number if you sum two numbers with opposite parity.

Whatever number you get from the first spin, you have a 50% chance of spinning a number with the same parity with the second spin, and a 50% chance of spinning a number with opposite parity with the second spin.

So, with each turn, you have a 50% chance of getting an even sum, and a 50% chance of getting an odd sum.

This means that, by definition, the expected number of spaces moved is

\dfrac{1}{2}\cdot 6 + \dfrac{1}{2}\cdot (-2) = 3-1 = 2

So, on average, you move 2 steps foward.

Solve for 30 points

Answer:

Yes, the car was speeding. I agree with Nico.

Step-by-step explanation:

When you divide 98 miles by 1.7 hours, the answer is 57.6470588. I agree with Nico because it is okay to round because no matter what, the number before the decimal number (57) will always be a greater number than 55. It is easier to round the number for the equation, so Nico is correct in this situation.

Hope this was helpful!! Mark brainliest if so!!!

Have a fantabulous day!!

What is the value of A+B+E?
15
17
-15
13

Thank you in advance!
ki77a [65]

Answer:

17

Step-by-step explanation:

∫ x² e⁻³ˣ dx = -1/27 e⁻³ˣ [Ax² + Bx + E] + C

Take derivative of both sides:

x² e⁻³ˣ = d/dx {-1/27 e⁻³ˣ [Ax² + Bx + E] + C}

x² e⁻³ˣ = -1/27 d/dx {e⁻³ˣ [Ax² + Bx + E]}

-27x² e⁻³ˣ = d/dx {e⁻³ˣ [Ax² + Bx + E]}

Use product rule to evaluate the derivative:

-27x² e⁻³ˣ = {e⁻³ˣ [2Ax + B] − 3e⁻³ˣ [Ax² + Bx + E]}

-27x² e⁻³ˣ = e⁻³ˣ {2Ax + B − 3 [Ax² + Bx + E]}

-27x² e⁻³ˣ = e⁻³ˣ [2Ax + B − 3Ax² − 3Bx − 3E]

-27x² e⁻³ˣ = e⁻³ˣ [-3Ax² + (2A − 3B) x + (B − 3E)]

-27x² = -3Ax² + (2A − 3B) x + (B − 3E)

Match the coefficients:

-27 = -3A

0 = 2A − 3B

0 = B − 3E

Solve the system of equations:

A = 9

B = 6

E = 2

Therefore, A + B + E = 17.
