yKpoI14uk [10]

Answer:

-4x+7= -21

-4x= -21-7( this positive 7 will change to negative as we take in other side )

-4x = -28

Both the negative will be cancelled

4x = 28

x = 28/4

X = 7

therefore the X value is 7

The coordinates of quadrilateral PQRS are P(0, 0), Q(a + c, 0), R(2a + c, b), and S(a, b). How can you use coordinate geometry t
Flauer [41]
We will use the formula for the slope:
m = ( y2- y1 ) / ( x2 - x1 )
For PQ : m = ( 0 - 0 ) / ( a + c - 0 ) = 0
For RS : m = ( b - b ) / ( a - ( 2a + c )) = 0
Both slopes are m = 0, so PQ and RS are parallel to x - axis and at the same time parallel to each other ( PQ | | RS ). One pair of opposite sides is parallel.

How do you find the slope of x^2 at x = 5? please hurry
Lorico [155]

The slope of any function is its first derivative.

If f(x)=x^2, then f'(x)= 2x .

At x=5, slope = f'(x) = 2(5) = 10 .
