Answer:

The best answer to the question: Which best describes the language in this excerpt, would be, definitely, C: Complex and intellectual.

Explanation:

This paragraph is the opening of the very Declaration of Independence which was adopted by the Second Continental Congress, and which was signed on July 4th, 1776. This Declaration of Independence is the document through which the American colonies informed their British motherland, and the world itself, why they were declaring themselves in rebellion and established the principles under which the new nation would be born. It must be remembered that this document, which was authored by such minds as Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and John Adams, was influenced greatly by philosophical and political currents of thought that were at the time also influencing European ways of thought and government. And these philosophical ideals, and political theories, became part of the Declaration of Independence. More than a mere declaration with words, it becomes the framework that will lead Americans thereafter.

The most logical generalization is letter b. people in rural areas have smaller dating pool than people in urban areas.

People in rural areas do not necessarily have an advantage with dating applications because everyone knows everyone, the number of people is much smaller, and they are people who naturally have a culture of approaching one to another.

 • Itens a. (dating applications do not often lead to romantic partnerships) and d. (most rural residents have located romantic partners through dating applications) > Both are distant from the contextualization of the passage.
 • Iten c. (fewer rural residents than urban residents have smart phones) > It is not a generalization. It is another kind of conclusion. Not all conclusions are generalizations.
