X= Desert 2
y= Desert 1 = 9x (because it is 9 times the area of Desert 1)

Add the two areas together.

x + 9x = 40,000,000
10x = 40,000,000
Divide both sides by 10
x= 4,000,000 sqr mi=area of Desert 2

9x= area of Desert 1 = y
9(4,000,000)= 36,000,000 sqr mi

Which of the following companies offers the greatest total employment compensation? Company A Gross pay $38,200 Insurance $3,500
spayn [35]

Answer:

Company C offers the greatest total employment compensation.

Step-by-step explanation:

Now we calculate the greatest total employment compensation as follows:

Company A :

Gross pay -      $38,200

Insurance -       $3,500

Paid time off -  $4,100

Total compensation = 38,200 + 3,500 + 4,100 = $45,800

Company B :

Gross pay -                         $39,000

Total employee benefit -   20% of 39,000 (0.20 × 3900) = $7,800

Job expenses -                  $700

Total compensation =  39,000 + 7,800 + 700 = $47,500

Company C :

Gross pay -     $39,900

Insurance -      $3,200

paid time off -  $3,900

Job expenses- $1,000

Total compensation = 39,900 + 3,200 + 3,900 + 1,000 = $48,000

Company D:

Gross pay - $39,400

total employee benefits - 18% of 39,400 (0.18 × 39,400) = $7,092

Total compensation = 39,400 + 7,092 = $46,492

Therefore company c offers the greatest total employment compensation.

If m L=65, then m LJK=___ ????? PLS HELP ASAP
aleksandr82 [10.1K]

Answer:

50 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

If angle L = 65 then the top angle for the triangle LMJ has to be 25 degrees as M is a right angle (or at least has to be for this problem to be possible)

the math to figure it out is 90+65+x=180 <-- due to triangles are 180 degrees inside which simplifies to 25 after that you just have to at 25 to itself 25+25 to get 50 which is the angle of J
