4x 3x -8
angle ADJ is a right angle, so it is equal to 90 degrees. so if you added the two missing numbers together (4x and 3x-8) it would have to equal 90.
4x+3x-8=90
7x-8=90
7x=98
x=14.
plug x back into the equations to find your angles.
3(14)-8 and 4(14)

4x+(3x-8)=90

4x+3x-8=90

7x=98

x=98/7

x=14

If x=14,

angle CDJ is:

(3(14)-8) degrees

=34 degrees

Novay_Z [31]

Answer:  6) 35 meters        7) Ф = 10°

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

6.\quad \tan\ 68^o=\dfrac{x}{14.3}\\\\\\.\quad 14.3 \tan\ 68^o=x\\\\.\quad 35\ meters =x

7.\quad \sin \theta =\dfrac{0.7}{4.2}\\\\\\.\qquad \quad \theta=\sin ^{-1}\bigg(\dfrac{1}{6}\bigg)\\\\\\,\qquad \quad \theta =10^o

The equation of a circle is x2 + y2 + Cx + Dy + E = 0. If the radius of the circle is decreased without changing the coordinates
stepladder [879]

Answer:

C and D are unchanged, but E increases.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given equation of circle

x^2+y^2+Cx+Dy+E=0

But we know that general equation of circle is with center at (h,k)

x^2 + y^2 -2hx -2ky + (h^2 + k^2 – r^2) = 0

Comparing both equations we get,

C = -2hx

D = -2ky

As in the given question we are not changing the coordinates of center so C and D will remain unchanged.

It also gives us

E = (h^2 + k^2 – r^2)

Decreasing r means that a lesser quantity will be subtracted from h^2 + k^2 which will increase the value of E.

X - 7.57=5.28 solve for x
sesenic [268]

Answer:

x = 12.85

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Step 1:  Solve for x by adding 7.57 to both sides</u>

x - 7.57 + 7.57 = 5.28 + 7.57

x = 12.85
