This behavior could be an example of echolalia. Echolalia is the repetition of words or phrases uttered by another, but without an understanding of the meaning or appropriate use of the phrase. So, in this case if Oscar is displaying echolalia then he is not saying these words to offer his mother cerial, but is rather merely repeating the sounds.

Migrants from Jacaltenango must leave behind their families and make a treacherous and often life-threatening journey north thro
Mkey [24]

Answer:

Explanation:

The main motivation for this is a better life for their families. Many of these individuals are running from a poverty that most people in the States can't properly imagine. In third-world countries, poverty is not, "not being able to afford new clothes or electronics" it's not being able to buy food to survive, or clothes at all. Most of these people are also running from some of the worst and most violent places on Earth, where gangs basically run complete cities and the murder rate is extremely high. Basically, for many of these families (which also have children) its either take the risk in hopes of a better and safer life for their families or live there whole lives (however short it may be) in poverty and fear.

In what way was sarah palin a strategic choice as john mccain's running mate in the 2008 presidential election?
Elena L [17]

McCain held an event with Alaska governor Sarah Palin, revealing her as his vice-presidential running mate on August 29, 2008 (the date coinciding both with McCain's 72nd birthday and the Palins' 20th wedding anniversary), at the Ervin J.

The McCain–Palin ticket lost the 2008 presidential election on November 4 to the Barack Obama–Joe Biden ticket.

McCain wanted someone who would shake up the race and reinforce his image as a maverick, so he decided against more conventional choices on his short list including Romney and Governor .

McCain had only talked to Palin a few times, and the campaign's vetting operation had mostly relied on Internet searches to check her background. Steve Schmidt and Nicolle Wallace assumed, incorrectly, that Palin would have a basic working knowledge about the public policy debates of the previous five to ten years Palin's career in Alaska had shown maverick tendencies similar to McCain's, and McCain hoped that Palin's youth, reformist record, appeal to social conservatives, and appeal to disaffected female Hillary Clinton voters would outweigh her lack of national and international visibility and experience.
