<span>Consciousness is a state of being where an individual is aware of himself and his environment. The reason as to why an individual is able to question their purpose, their existence and the circumstances happening in their moment.

During Freud’s time, consciousness came to being when he introduced the theory of the conscious mind. However, when behaviorism came along, consciousness diminished. After a while got back when humanism rose to integrate the importance of self-actualization and awareness. </span>

I believe the answer is: Paralysis

paralysis occurs when there is a certain amount of damage in an organism's nervous system. The damage cause the muscles in our body unable to receive and interpret the order from our brain to make movement correctly, which basically shut down their function.
