The above statement is true.
When you are using excel to filter for unique values, you have to use the Advanced command in the Sort & Filter group on the Data tab and to remove duplicate values, you have to use the Remove Duplicates command which is in the Data Tools group on the Data tab.And when you want to highlight unique or duplicate values, you have to use the Conditional Formatting command which is in the Style group on the Home tab.
