To simplify 174/216, all you do is keep dividing until the two numbers are <span>undivisable</span> by the same number. First I would divide by 2 to get 87/108. Then I would divide by 3 to get 29/36. 29 is a prime number therefore I can not divide by any whole number exact 1 and itself to get another whole number. Futhermore the answer is 29/36.

velikii [3]

Answer:

6x - 21

Step-by-step explanation:

3(2x - 7)

Use the Distribute Property of Multiplication by multiplying the number outside the parenthesis with the numbers inside.

3 × 2x = 6x

3 × -7 = -21

Combine:

6x - 21

Hope this helped.

Which of the following shows the true solution to the logarithmic equation 3 log Subscript 2 Baseline (2 x) = 3
VARVARA [1.3K]

Answer:

x = 1

Step-by-step explanation:

We have to solve the given logarithmic equation of variable x.

The equation is 3\log _{2} (2x) = 3

⇒ \log_{2} (2x)^{3} = 3

{Since, we know the logarithmic property, a \log b = \log b^{a}}

⇒ \log_{2} (2x)^{3} = 3\log_{2}2 = \log_{2} 2^{3}

{Since we know that \log_{a} a = 1}

Now cancelling log from both sides we get,

(2x)^{3} = 2^{3}

⇒ x^{3} = 1

⇒ x = 1 (Answer)
