It has strong effect on children because with poverty, it means that there is a presence of people who are poor because of the circumstances that they are facing that could lead to numerous effects not only to themselves but to their children. Having to experience poverty means that they may not be able to afford things that they need or want in which we call the material deprivation, another thing is that they could experience poor health. Having these factors could already affect the children because when their parents experience this, it is likely that they will be also affected.
