You are given the mass of the metal block, but you must calculate its volume using the measurements of the given dimensions. For a rectangular solid, volume = length x width x height; therefore, the volume of the block is (3 cm)(5 cm)(4 cm) or 60 cubic centimeters. The density is 14 g/60 cc or 0.23 g/cc.

First find the volume. The expression for regular shape like cubic solid is v=length x width x height
Then find the mass of the cube by using a scale. Finally use the expression to find the density.
D= mass divided by volume (D= mass/volume )

Why should people be cautious about introducing organisms into new environments?
ivann1987 [24]

Answer and Explanation:

There is possibility of the organisms interbreeding with the wild-type or other sexually compatible  species may lead to the loss of the novel trait created unless the trait presents a competitive  advantage to the organism. Also the organisms may exhibit faster growth and development thus bestowing on them  competitive advantage over the wild-types.
