Answer:

Dad has a secret fishing spot

Explanation:

A clause, a group of word that have at least a subject and a verb, can be either dependent (when it can not stand on its own because it does not express a complete thought), or independent (when the clause expresses a complete thought on its own, and does not need another clause in order to make sense).

In the sentence, "Dad has a secret fishing spot" is an independent clause because it has a full meaning on its own: If we see this clause alone, the clause expresses a complete thought. On the other hand, "where he catches the most fish." is a dependent clause because if it were alone, without another clause, it would not make sense.

Dad has a secret fishing spot

The are two different clauses in this sentence. One is the dependent and the other is the independent. The independent clause is the one that can stand alone. It is a complete sentence on its own. The dependent clause is the one that is left an incomplete sentence.

First add the whole numbers.
Then find the LCM (least common multiple) of 3 and 2, which are the denominators of both fractions. In this case, the LCM of 3 and 2 are 6.
As you can see in the photo, I multiplied a number than can result in 6 in both denominators. Then multiply that same number to the numerators.
Finally, add 21+2, but keep the denominator as 6.
This is how I learned it, hope it helps.
