Explain why the relationship between how much steven charges and time is a promotioninal relationship

Mathematics

Yes, because the more time steve takes working on whatever he's doing, the more it promotes him to delay it so he can charge even more, like a car mechanic, the longer time it takes they more money they make, so they feel promoted to stretch while picking their teeth.

unless you meant, proportional.

say for example Steve charges $5 per hour doing some work, in 1 hr, he chargers 5 bucks, in 2 hours, 10 bucks, in 3 hours 15 bucks and so on.

the amount being charged, is increasing by a proportion of 5:1, for every 1 hour, 5 bucks, so is a direct proportional variation type of relation.

A rectangular piece of poster board measurea 60 centimeters by 80 centimeters. Linn draws the net of a box on the poster board a
Ganezh [65]
To find the answer for that question you have to find the area of rectangle first, so you say 60*80 which equals to 4800 cm squared and then find the area of the box and not its volume so you say: 2(16*10)=2*160=320 cm squared
                                                              4(16*27)=4*432=1728 cm squared
add 320+1728= 2048 cm squared
Finally, to find the area of the left poster board you have to subtract the area of the rectangle which is 4800 cm squared by the area of the box which is 2048 cm squared so 4800-2048=2752 cm squared

What is the equation of a line that is perpendicular to the x-axis and passes through (3,-2)
34kurt

Answer:

x = 3

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that if we have an original line and we are finding the perpendicular we know that the slope of the second line is gonna be the negative reciprocal of the first line and given that we know it must be perpendicular to the original line it will be heading downwards on the y axis with no slope so instead of y equals it will be x equals and we know that our x value of the point given is three so the answer is x = 3

Angle formed by two chords is the half of the sum of the intercepted arcs:

  • 7x + 3 = 1/2(152 + 78)
  • 7x + 3 = 115
  • 7x = 112
  • x = 112/7
  • x = 16

Can somebody help me please !?
r-ruslan [8.4K]

Answer:

option 4) x = 14  y = 7

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given a side angle and a side length so we can use trigonometry to find the solution

To find x we can use sine because the given side length is opposite to the angle so,

sin(60) = \frac{7\sqrt{3} }{x}

solve for x and you get 14 (make sure you check that your calculator is in degrees)

for either use Pythagorean theorem or remove sine by tangent.
