WWI ended when Germany formally surrendered and all the other nations that were fighting agreed to stop as well while the terms of peace were being negotiated or you could say "treaty." The treaty that officially ended it was the Treaty of Versailles.

Historians thousands of years from now would be interested in how Technology sped up globalization. They would also be interested in know how the world operated prior to the internet age as well as before Globalization became the norm. They would study current world trends to see how it is that Global Governance was still at it's infancy and the struggle between privacy as well as security.

<h3>What might they conclude about us?</h3>

In a thousand years from now, Historians would most likely conclude that our focus was so much on technological progress that our performance with regard to social progress was sub-par.

Low Social progress being that we still saw humanity at this (from what will then be considered primitive thinking or paradigm) as largely segregated due to biological and geographical conditions over which we had no control.
