Triangular inequality:  Length of third side must be less than the sum of the lengths of the other 2 sides.
x < 18 + 29
x < 47

so Maximum length of third side is 46 units.

Also 29 < 18 + x
x > 11    so minimum length = 12

Difference  = 46-11 = 35

Find the values of x and y.<br><br> Show steps
algol [13]

Answer: x=90° y=43°

Step-by-step explanation: Right away you may be able to tell that x is a right triangle, which is 90°. Now, look at the two small lines cutting through some of the triangle. That means the sides are congruent, and that the bottom two angles are the same. So if angle C is 47°, then so is D. A triangle has 180° in total. So since we already have 47° and 90°, subtract 47 and 90 from 180 to get angle y.

2/5x + 15=-11 (2 over 5x it’s a fraction plus 15 equals -11)
Ber [7]

Solve for x:

\frac{2}{5}x+15=-11

Subtract 15 on both sides:

\begin{gathered} \frac{2}{5}x=-11-15 \\  \\ \frac{2}{5}x=-26 \end{gathered}

Multiply by 5/2:

\frac{5}{2}*\frac{2}{5}x=-26*\frac{5}{2}

Simplify and operate:

x=-65
