Yes. 25 and 35 both go into 5 so 25=5, 35=7.
So the answer is 5/7.
Hope this helps :)

FILL IN THE BLANKS: Given P(x) = 3x5 + 7x6 + 11x7 – 12x - 10
Mama L [17]

The polynomial 3x^5 + 7x^6 + 11x^7 - 12x - 10 is in standard form if the exponents are arranged in decreasing order.

Polynomial in Standard Form

Polynomial is an algebraic expression with one or more terms. For example :2x^3+6x^4+x^2+x+2. In this example and in your exercise the exponents of the terms are not arranged in order.

Um polynomial is in Standard Form when the exponents of the terms are in decreasing order. See more details below.

2x^3+6x^4+x^2+x+2is not in standard form because the exponents are not written in decreasing order.

6x^4+2x^3++x^2+x+2 is in standard form because the exponents are written in decreasing order.

Therefore, the given polynomial will be in standard form if yours exponents are arranged in decreasing order.

Y^3-9y^2+y-9 I don't know how to solve this can you help
aleksley [76]
I'm guessing your problem is this:
y³ - 9y² + y - 9 = 0
right?

In solving this problem, I recommend doing this:
y³ - 9y² + y - 9 = 0
Factor out a y² from the first two numbers in the problem:
y²(y - 9) + (y - 9) = 0
Separate the parentheses which means y - 9 goes on one side. The y² added a one since it came from the + 1 in the middle of expression. When you're separating parentheses like this you just take the outside numbers and combine them together. Since + 1 came from the outside of the (y - 9) and y² also was sitting on the outside of (y - 9) combine them to make y² + 1. Like this:
(y² + 1)(y - 9) = 0
Now separate your two parentheses to two separate problems:
(y² + 1) = 0    and    (y - 9) = 0
Now you're y² + 1 will equal:
y² = -1
y = √-1 <-- This number doesn't exist so it will be an imaginary number (i). If you guys didn't learn that in your class I recommend just leaving it as i for that part.
Now solve y - 9 = 0:
y = 9 <-- Since we added nine to both sides to get this.

So you're final answer should be y = i and 9

Find the measurement
xenn [34]

♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

6z + 7  = 8z - 9

8z - 9 = 6z + 7

Add sides 9

8z - 9 + 9 = 6z + 7 + 9

8z = 6z + 16

Subtract sides 6z

- 6z + 8z =  - 6z + 6z + 16

2z = 16

Divide sides by 2

\frac{2z}{2}  =  \frac{16}{2}  \\

z = 8

Thus ;

NP = 8z - 9

NP = 8(8) - 9

NP = 64 - 9

NP = 64 - 4 - 5

NP = 60 - 5

NP = 55

Done...
