Answer: Hiram is a character in the book Mississippi trial who has a close relationship with his grandfather. But due to a long separation from his grandfather for 6 years, that relationship turns slightly cordial and soon becomes strained when he finds out his grandfather is racist.

This is because he develops a friendship with a black boy called Emmett who has a lot in common with him. Emmett ends up being killed though by some vengeful racists.

Read this excerpt from The Call of the Wild by Jack London.
spayn [35]
Yea the correct answer here is the option D.
Spitz is a leader of the pact, he is the alpha dog, but he is also cruel and not a very likeable dog. He is the last stepping stone for Buck who needs to become a pack leader. In this excerpt we see that with the aggressive style and violence true teamwork is impossible to achieve and here we see that on the example of Spitz.

Why should you always put a comma?
Feliz [49]

Answer:

a comma is important for a couple reasons.

Explanation:

A comma can avoid a run on sentence, and completely change the type of sentence (eg. compound, complex, run on, etc.). It can also change the whole meaning of what's being said in the sentence. For example: "Let's eat, Jayden!" compared to, "Let's eat Jayden!" have completely different meanings because of the comma.

Hope this helps :)
